The EK280 can be equipped with a GSM / GPRS modem and power supply unit (zone 2) and thus covers the requirements for volume conversion, data recording and remote data transfer in one device. In addition, the device has other digital inputs and allows the connection of another pressure and / or temperature sensor. Status and measurement signals (eg door contact, SSV, inlet pressure, etc.) of the gas metering and control system can thus be recorded and transmitted to remote control or SCADA systems for monitoring purposes via a separate interface.
