Safety valve J120
The J120 is a safety valve that ensures the integrity of the installation in the event of a loss of gas pressure. In the event of a pressure drop, the J120 is activated and the gas supply to the downstream devices is switched off until the manual or automatic reset mechanism is started. The J120 is available in sizes from ¾ “to 2” and comes in a factory kit.
The J120 ensures the safety and integrity of the installation in the event of unacceptably low gas pressure or a fault in the gas supply. In such a situation, the burners could be turned off, and after the supply was restored, the gas could pass through the open taps. To prevent this, the J120 operates with a preset gas pressure and automatically shuts off the supply. After the gas supply is restored, all burner taps downstream must be closed before the J120 reset mechanism allows gas to flow.
The J120 is designed for horizontal and vertical pipelines. It is suitable for working with natural, liquefied gas and produced gases.
