The DL230 multi-channel data logger is used to determine peak loads and load profiles for gas meters with LF pulse outputs for commercial and industrial customers. Two of the four input channels can alternatively also be connected to encoder indexes. Inputs that do not record any consumption information or original meter readings can also be programmed as status inputs. This allows for simple monitoring functions, such as registering station access or an alarm signal from a volume converter. The integrated GSM / GPRS modem can be operated by batteries or optionally by an internal power supply unit. The use of DLMS / COSEM communication ensures secure data transmission using the latest encryption methods. Automated data transfer via the device to the download system or MDM (PUSH mode) is another alternative.
